    Austin has many types of photography. Pricing for those types of services varies depending on the service and the photographer’s experience. Here are some of the averages you should be looking at for professional photographers. Some can be below or even higher. I would always recommend picking a photographer that was mid-range to high mid-range. Unless you are picking a famous photographer don’t go too high, and if you want to guarantee your quality, don’t go too low.

    Austin Portrait Photography pricing varies depending on the type of portrait photography you are looking for. These prices usually range somewhere between 200-1000 for a session with photos. Just the session should range somewhere around 200-400, add more than an hour and pricing usually ranges between 300-500 for the session. Some sessions include 5-10 images, some include none. You should look at what comes with the session, how much photos cost after the session and how the images are delivered. Many photographers charge a per image rate for photos between 10-50 dollars per image. Why does the pricing range so much? This is because it depends on how much retouching you choose if you order any specialty coloring, etc. Any lightly retouching image usually lands somewhere between 20-40.

So what should you pay for an engagement photoshoot? Pricing varies depending on what you are looking to do. With these special on-location sessions, I make sure I ask the photographer what they bring with them to the shoot in regards to lighting. This will make a huge difference even if the photographer charges extra, this will improve the quality of the images by a lot, yes even though there is natural light. The range on the pricing I would say would land between 300-500 for a quick 30-minute to an 1-hour session.

    Austin Headshot Photography Pricing

    Austin Headshots don’t take a very long time so many photographers offer smaller packages for a set amount of photos. Many headshots are shot with shallow depth of field, which means its fuzzy in the background. Some are shot with longer depth of field, depending on the style depends on the amount of retouching you will want, which can add to the price. I would recommend a smaller package between 150-250, a medium package between 250-350 and a larger package between 350-450.

    Austin photography studio is located in north Austin and does portrait photography all year round. Pricing is available if you click on the below links. There are seasonal deals as well depending on the dates you are looking to book. Portrait pricing ranges from 350-550 for a simple portrait session with a good amount of photos included. You can always get a better deal if you keep an eye out for seasonal deals that many photographers offer monthly.

    Austin Newborn Photography Pricing

    Newborn photography pricing is available. Usually, a 2-3 hour session getting those priceless images of your baby sleeping, laughing, smiling or yawning. This session on average lasts longer than a normal session and I never want to stress this type of session as it brings down the quality of the images. A newborn session usually averages 400-800 for a session with photos. I would recommend doing this session when the baby is between 1-3 months.

    Family Photography Pricing

    Book a family photography session for in-studio and on-location depending on the season we run seasonal deals for family photography portrait sessions. Family photo sessions range in price depending on the size of your family. On average my family portrait clients spend between 300-500 and many buy more photos months later to bring down the cost.

    Austin Maternity Photography Pricing

    When you are 6-8 months pregnant we recommend you book a maternity photography portrait session. This will be a memory forever and is wonderful to show your kids. It’s best to book your maternity session around 6 months before you start to swell. A maternity session pricing averages between 200-400 for the session and photos.

    Austin Senior Photography Pricing

    At the end of the high school senior year, you should book a senior session to remember these moments by. Below you will find pricing and information on your senior sessions. We have two different choices for senior portrait sessions. There are a small medium and large option for these packages. A small package will range between 200-400, medium 500-600 and a large 600+.     Kids Portrait Photography Pricing

    Book your kid’s portrait sessions. Below you will find information and pricing on the kid’s portrait sessions. Kids portrait sessions are done more often and because of that I recommend doing many mini-sessions instead of few larger sessions. Price ranges between 200-300 for these sessions mini-format. You can always add on more hours or add more photos later as well.
